Adventure film lovers 2017 has presented many diverse films. They have a lot of exciting incidents, sharp turns of the plot and unexpected outcomes. Some of the expected pictures brought an unexpected disappointment, but for the most part the cinemas coming to the end of the year brought many worthy pictures to film fans.
"Dog life"
A touching film tells about the adventures of a dog that appeared as a puppy in a boy named Ethan. After the dog dies of old age, he is reborn in the body of another dog. This happens several times, until in one of the lives of the dog was again in the family of Ethan. The essence of what is happening in the search for a dog of his destination. For dog lovers, the movie will not always be easy and enjoyable. A series of deaths of dogs and their getting to not quite worthy owners can be a hard sight for true animal lovers. In general, the outcome of the film becomes curious. For this picture is worth a look.
"Salute 7"
The picture takes place in 1985. A meteorite hits the Salyut 7 space station, which provokes breakdowns on board. Communication with the satellite from the Earth is lost. In addition, the power is turned off. In order to save the apparatus and the honor of Russian cosmonautics, two best astronauts are sent to the docking with the satellite. Arriving on board, the heroes discover new problems that impede the task.
The director was inspired by a real emergency involving a space station. And if in the real world in those years the apparatus was repaired as planned, then additional accidents and many other problems fell on the cosmonauts in the film. The result was a completely adequate genre film, glorifying the heroic deeds of people in dangerous professions.
"Atlantis"
The young man, being a meteorologist by profession, goes to the island, where besides him and the aged lighthouse keeper, there is no one. The superintendent is not inclined to lead a conversation, so the guy is preparing for a secluded life, but this was not to be realized. At night, strange creatures come out of the sea and capture the island. They are trying to get hold of the forecaster's consciousness.
The plot of the film is rather old-fashioned. The viewer has already watched dozens of adventure films about people who are deluded about their loneliness on any island. The movie was not provided with a large budget. Nevertheless, the result was an exciting movie with the original finale.
"Jungle"
The story tells of a tourist who has lost his way in the thicket of the forest. Thirst for adventure and profit makes a young man and three more gold miners go into the thicket of the jungle, where the team disintegrates. The guy has to survive with a minimum set of equipment. For a resident of the city, this task is particularly difficult, given that he had to face the attack of a jaguar, termites and tropical rain. The film is quite dynamic and carries a certain morality. It is fully consistent with its genre and is able to attract the attention of viewers.
"Skyline 2"
In the middle of the night, the cop drinking police once again has to take his son from the precinct where he was brought for a fight. On the way home, father and son are at the center of an alien invasion. Now their task is to survive and get to the coast, where they should expect help. This movie, in fact, is very similar to a farce, demeaning the whole genre of alien adventure action films. The viewer will not find in the film either common sense or logic. The plot is rapidly evolving, not paying attention to the many stupid bloopers and delusional twists and turns of events. Film critics even suggested that the director sees the camera for the first time and was never familiar with the other aspects of high-quality filming.
“Gogol. Start"
The plot of the picture is very entertaining: the young clerk Gogol has shimmering extrasensory abilities. The local investigator Gourau wants to take advantage of this guy’s feature, as he unsuccessfully tries to find the killer of several girls near the village of Dykanka. During this time, several more dead people will appear in the film strip, and some of them will even come to life.
The film has become the first of its kind. It stands out against the background of other domestic attempts to create a decent horror. The film can compete with foreign counterparts, decorating the world set of genre films with Slavic flavor.
"Mummy"
A special unit soldier Nick fights terrorists and, by coincidence, falls into a mysterious bunker. Here he finds the mummy of an Assyrian princess, who has lain under tons of sand for hundreds of years. During the transportation of the find, the plane crashes, after which only the hero Tom Cruise and, oddly enough, the mummy itself remain alive. The awakened princess is extremely angry and dreams of avenging humanity for her destiny.
The task of the authors was to satisfy the tastes of fans of this type of horror, fans of the previous version of "Mummy", as well as those viewers who simply love exciting movies with a twisted plot.We can safely say that the goal has been achieved. Despite the presence of the film of the same name, the new film turned out fresh and original.
"Wonder Woman"
The young Amazon was born and raised on a beautiful island and knows little about the outside world. She trained all her life to become strong and fight for the truth. Everything changes, when the girl discovers a military pilot of the US Air Force, who miraculously gets ashore. Diana learns about the horrors of the First World War and decides to independently go to battle to save the world.
The next film, based on the comic book, did not become something outstanding. In this case, frank trash can not be called either Diana is so unreal and invulnerable that empathizing her does not make sense. This factor deprives the main function of the film - the formation of emotions. The spectator without special enthusiasm follows the adventures of the wonder-woman and is unlikely to want to repeat the viewing of the film again.
"Pirates of the Caribbean: The Dead do not tell fairy tales"

The authors presented the film as a fundamentally new storyline with young heroes. However, everything from Jack Sparrow to Barbossa is here. Even the personalities Villa and Elizabeth are constantly implied along the course of the film. Definitely it can be said that the new duet of young actors will fade before the brilliance of Knightley and Blum tandem. Yet the film has a dynamic and not without comedy scenes, which makes it interesting to watch.
"Armor of God: in search of treasure"
Archaeologist Jack, in company with a female professor and assistant, are sent to Tibet in search of lost treasures. There they fall into an ice cave, where they find the remains of troops carrying jewels. Here they are attacked by an aggressive descendant of the fallen soldiers. Having miraculously escaped captivity, the heroes are sent to auction in Dubai, where they buy a diamond, giving access to real treasures.
Dynamic adventure comedy combines the features of China and India. Jackie Chan has not changed himself. His films are dynamic chases and action-packed fights. All this is accompanied by a humorous frame, which adds to the picture of charm. The plot is simple and not overloaded with details. A worthy continuation of the brilliant career Jackie.
