Each calendar year, the government of the Russian Federation sets a new production calendar for the next year. For example, for 2018, the calendar of holidays, working days and weekends will be established at the end of 2017, namely in its last quarter.

To date, there is already a preliminary calendar for 2018, which was drawn up taking into account the resolution of the state government of Russia concerning the postponement of the weekend next year, and also taking into account the Order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation No. 588n “On approval of the procedure for calculating certain calendar periods (including year, quarter, month), depending on the set working time per week ”and Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation“ Non-working and holiday Ace days.

At the end of 2017 it will be possible to make a small adjustment of the production calendar, so today you can make a list of holidays and weekends in 2018 concerning Russia.

  • 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 January 2018 - New Year holidays;
  • January 7, 2018 - Christmas;
  • February 23, 2018 - Defender of the Fatherland Day;
  • March 8, 2018 - International Women's Day;
  • May 1, 2018 - Spring and Labor Day;
  • May 9, 2018 - Victory Day;
  • June 12, 2018 - Day of Russia;
  • November 4, 2018 - National Unity Day.

Weekends and holidays in 2018 in the Russian Federation according to the production calendar (monthly)

January 2018

  • From January 1 to January 8 - New Year holidays, of which January 1 is the New Year, and January 7 is Christmas (on Sunday). Since the holiday falls on a calendar day off, this date is postponed to May 2.
  • 13-14, 20-21, 27-28th of January - the days off according to the calendar.

February 2018

  • 3-4, 10-11, 17-18, February 24-25 - days off according to the calendar.
  • February 22 - shortened working day.
  • February 23 - holiday Defender of the Fatherland Day (non-working day).

March 2018

  • 3-4, 10-11, 17-18, 24-25 and March 31 - weekend on the calendar
  • March 7 - shortened working day.
  • March 8 - holiday International Women's Day (non-working).

April 2018

  • 1, 7-8, 14-15, 21-22 and April 29 - the weekend.
  • April 30 is an additional day off (postponed from April 28).

Total in April 2018: 21 working days and weekends - 9.

May 2018

  • May 1 - holiday, Spring and Labor Day
  • 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, May 26-27 are days off according to the calendar.
  • May 8 - shortened working day.
  • May 9 - Victory Day holiday, day off.

Total in May 2018: 20 working days and 11 non-working days.

June 2018

  • 2-3, 10, 16-17, 23-24 and June 30 - days off.
  • June 11 - an additional day off (transferred from June 9).
  • June 12 is the Day of Russia holiday.

Total in June 2018: 20 working days and weekends - 10.

July 2018

  • 1, 7-8, 14-15, 21-22, July 28-29 - non-working days.

Total in July 2018: 22 workers and 9 days of rest.

August 2018

  • 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, August 25-26 - the calendar days off.

Total in August 2018: 23 working days and non-working - 8.

September 2018

  • 1-2, 8-9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30 September - days off according to the calendar.

Total in September 2018: 20 working days and non-working 10.

October 2018

  • 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, October 27-28 - days off.

Total in October 2018: 23 working days and weekends - 8.

November 2018

  • 3, 10-11, 17-18, November 24-25 - non-working days
  • November 4 - National Unity Day. This holiday coincides with the day off, so it is postponed to the 5th of November (Monday).

Total in November 2018: 21 working days and weekends - 9.

December 2018

  • 1-2, 8-9, 15-16, 22-23, December 30 - the weekend of the calendar.
  • December 31 - an additional day off (postponed from December 29).

Total in December, 2018: working days 21 and days off - 10.

The result of 2018

  • 247 business days;
  • 118 non-working days (all holidays and standard holidays);
  • 20 holidays;
  • 98 days off.

The total number of days per year is 365.
